Organizational Procedural Integrity (OPI) Task Force
PURPOSE
Many applied behavior analysis (ABA) organizations have a clinical operations problem.
As the demand for services increases, ABA providers struggle to retain staff while managing the quality of care they’re delivering – leading to operations that are difficult to sustain. The purpose of this task force is to develop recommendations for measuring and analyzing organization-wide procedural integrity data as one metric of service quality, which will help ABA organizations improve the quality of delivery and outcomes.
WHO
The procedural integrity task force is comprised of respected scientists, talented practitioners, and industry leaders to develop recommendations for measuring and analyzing organization-wide procedural integrity data as one metric of service quality.
WHEN
The task force, chaired by Dr. Florence DiGennaro Reed, will meet semi-monthly for one year in a remote format.
OUTCOME
The outcome of the task force’s efforts includes specific guidance on the analysis of organization-wide data collected over months (e.g., formula, weighting of variables, data quantity, analysis), which will be used to establish benchmarks for Behavior Science Technology’s Organizational Procedural Integrity (OPI) score.
